How Our Method Works
Our unique *SAO cleaning method works by attacking organic matter, breaking it down into smaller particles and suspending it in solution. The solution reacts with proteins which are large organic compounds and consists of strings of amino acids held together by peptide bonds. Peptide bonds react with a 3rd oxygen molecule in the solution and breaks apart the proteins, leaving behind base amino acids. The base amino acids continue to react with the solution and break down into even more stable/inert inactive matter. These minute particles are then readily suspended in water. Our unique cleaning method has been developed for high level sensitisation of hard and soft surfaces, environments, equipment and air. It is to be used to reduce the risk of cross infection and contamination.

SARs-Cov-2 (Covid-19) specific information (updated 21st March 2020)
The scientific name for the Coronavirus is “Coronaviridae.” The Coronaviridae falls into the group of viruses that are easiest to kill. Classified as an “enveloped” virus, enveloped viruses are the least resistant and once the envelope is damaged the integrity of the virus is compromised rendering its infectivity. Our SAO methods kills viruses like this quickly and easily at a rate of 99.99% effectiveness. The Coronavirus is just like these other viruses. With limited availability of the SARs-Cov-2 (Covid-19) for testing our SAO methods were tested against small non-enveloped viruses (Canine Parvovirus ATCC VR-2016 was used) which are the most difficult to kill. The test concluded that SAO methods have an extremely high kill rate of over 99% of these types of viruses. The next stage of testing will be on SARs-Cov-2 directly as supply becomes available. Due to the extremely positive results on killing more difficult categorised viruses we are anticipating that the results will conclude an equally positive result. We will of course share these results as they are released within the next couple of weeks.
SAO™ scientifically proven to kill approved surrogate of COVID-19 virus
SAO™ Latest Testing Update 16/4/2020
Since the COVID-19 outbreak diligent work has been going on to provide as much information as possible regarding the effects of SAO™ on viruses.
Over the past few months, testing has been done on SAO™ for its effectiveness against different virus categories and families. Due to biosafety regulations, it is not possible to test against SARS-Cov-2 at this stage and therefore we go off the guidance from the EPA and WHO. However, we have now been able to test on the next best thing - its surrogate virus, Murine Coronavirus/Murine Hepatitis Virus (MHV-3).
SAO™ vs COVID-19 Surrogate (MHV): The Official Lab Reports
Following rigorous tests, conducted to the required standards and protocols EN 14476:2015. It was proven that SAO™ was effective in eliminating greater than >99.99% (>4-log) of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) surrogate, MHV-3, with a one-minute dwell time. While testing against MHV, the lab also tested against Influenza A Virus (H1N1), Measles Virus and Syncytial Respiratory Virus, all of which belong to the enveloped virus subcategory. SAO™ solution was as equally effective at eliminating greater than >99.99% (>4-log) of these viruses with the same one-minute dwell time as the COVID-19 surrogate, MHV-3.
Murine Hepatitis Virus
>99.99% killed in 1 minute
Influenza A Virus
>99.99% killed in 1 minute
Measles Virus
>99.99% killed in 1 minute
Syncytial Respiratory Virus
>99.99% killed in 1 minute

Our 4 Stage Process
Stage 1 - Our professional team will discuss your situation, the location and current condition of the site in question. You will be provided with details of your key contact for the job. After gathering the required information your key contact will recommend a bespoke infection cleaning solution, which fits around your exact needs. A site visit and risk assessment will then be arranged followed by an assessment of the type, the level of cleaning work needed and a job method statement written.
Stage 2 - On the arranged date our specialist cleaning team will arrive on site to conduct a full risk assessment and prepare the area for sanitisation cleaning. Copies of the risk assessments and job method statement will be provided for your own records and peace of mind. We ask that you check these upon receipt to ensure that you are comfortable with everything included. Any issues should be raised with your key contact.  Only once you and the team are happy with how the work will be carried out and that all safety measures have been addressed, will work begin.
Stage 3 - Your cleaning team will work efficiently and methodically through the site to ensure that everything is thoroughly cleaned to the highest possible standard. During the process, the site will be out of bounds to those not part of the team and must remain so until the team advise that the area is safe to enter. If you have any queries during this time, your key contact will be able to answer any questions you have.
Stage 4 - Following the completion of the works, a final check will be conducted to ensure the area is ready to be reopened, ensuring that any waste is disposed of hygienically and using the appropriate method as per government guidelines. Your key contact will then confirm all the details of the works that have been carried out and provide you with a job sign off sheet indicating that all work has been completed as per the job method statement provided.
